Feileann scéal do dhéagóirí agus is féidr e a chur chun oiriúint d’aois-ghrúpa no cumas ar bith. Feileann sé ach go háirithe do lucht na hidirbhliana mar a thugannn se taithí shiamsúil uathúil foghlama dóibh lasmuigh den seomra ranga.
An Cheardlann
Is i ngrúpaí de 36 a ritear ár gCeardlann. Tosaímid le leíriú gairid grinn bunaithe ar scéal cáiliúil. Leantar éé seo le raith de ghníomhaíochtaí labhartha chun muinín na ndaltaí a mhúnlú agus chun iad a chur ag obair i ngrúpaí le script a fhorbairt dá scéal. Chríochnaíonn sí leis na ndaltaí ag leiriú leagan den scéal iad féin. Cuirimid frapaí , feistis agus fuaimrian ar fáil le dearbhú go mbíonn eispéireas greannmhar agus crithaitheach acu. Ar deireadh bíonn gradam Oscar againn chun aitheantas a thabhairt don iarracht a dheineadh sa cheardlann. Tá ár gceardlanna 90 nóiméad ar fhad.

Scéal
Scéal is a Storytelling/Performance workshop in Irish from High Rock Productions. It is designed to improve drama and presentation. It will also improve confidence in spoken Irish. It can also be can be run in English to improve students drama and presentation skills.
Who is it for?
Scéal is suitable for anyone and can be adapted depending on age and level of ability. It is particularly suitable for transition year groups giving them an entertaining innovative learning experience outside the normal classroom environment.
The Workshop
We take students in groups of up to 36 students. The workshop begins with a short comic performance based on a famous story. This is followed by a series of speaking activities to build students confidence and and to get them working in groups to develop a script for the story. The workshop finishes with students presenting a version of the story themselves. We provide all the props, sound effects and special effects to ensure the students have an hilarious, creative experience.
Workshops are 90 minutes long and are run consecutively.
